A Message From Our Pastor
Woodstock Presbyterian Church is a small but dedicated group of Christians who seek to live out Christ’s Great Commission in this part of God’s world. The worship service includes a mixture of informal choruses to more traditional hymns, a small choir and occasional guest singers, a biblically relevant sermon, and opportunity to share prayer requests that are included in the morning prayer. Laypersons usually assist the pastor in conducting the service. Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month and special occasions. Communion is open to nonmembers who believe in Christ as their Savior. Each week, children begin worship in the sanctuary and hear a children’s message. They then move to a classroom for more children’s activities and lessons. On occasion, the congregation meets for fellowship dinners with light entertainment. Woodstock Presbyterian’s outreach efforts include MUST ministries, Franklin Graham’s Shoebox Ministry, the PCUSA’s One Great Hour of Sharing, the Woodstock Christmas Parade, Souper Bowl of Caring and more.
